Bought an 83 CJ5 for Andrea as a Christmas gift, of course she seen it on here way home from work. So we started on it with her help. Tore it apart getting ready to order new sheet metal, armor and thinking to do a drive train swap to a doner vehicle 4x4 302fi and auto tranny. Found a 44/9" axle sey from a 1/2 ton and debating whether to do that or keep the 30/amc20 axles.

director go with the 44/9" - according to members on pirate the 30 is a total POS that cannot even be built, and the 20 can be good with multiple mods, but the 44/9" are better! (i need to take my own advice as i am running 30/20)

finnaly got the 3in1 machine plasma/tig/arc machine and have put it to use on Andreas soon to be rig.
drivers floor pans roughed in, don't worry about the stitch welds, didn't want to warp it to bad. Everything will be covered up with bed liner or undercoat anyway.
